In the first quarter of 2024, the sandbox gaming category has seen varied trends in the UK market. According to Sensor Tower's analysis, here's how the top five sandbox games performed on the unified platform.

Roblox maintained a strong presence with revenue fluctuating around the $1M mark weekly, peaking at $1.1M in the first week of January. Downloads saw a high of 88K in the first week, with a consistent downtrend to around 57K towards the end of March. Weekly active users started at 5M, dropping to 4.4M by mid-March before rebounding to 4.7M.

Block Craft 3D:Building Game showed modest revenue, with a peak at $1.2K. Downloads saw a peak of 17K in mid-February, with a notable increase to 17K again in the last week of March. Active users hovered around 100K, reaching a high of 112K in the last week.

For The Sims™ FreePlay, revenues were consistent, with a high of $53K in late March. Downloads ranged from 11K to 9K, while weekly active users remained stable around 59K, showing slight fluctuations throughout the quarter.

Rec Room - Play with friends! witnessed revenues between $2.5K and $3.5K. Downloads started at 15K in January, dropping to lows of 4.8K in March. Active users decreased from 37K in January to 24K by the end of March.

Block Crazy Robo World, while not generating revenue, had downloads peaking at 15K in late February. Weekly active users saw a high of 64K in the same period, but there was a general decline to 56K by the end of the quarter.
